Key Concepts
Warehouses are represent the storage facilities for both Raw Materials and Finished Goods. The Warehouse can be used for both supply and demand information and often the same Warehouse is both the supplying facility and the facility where Finished Goods are stocked until they are shipped. Note that a Destination Warehouse must be set in order for Product information to be configured correctly on the Operation headers.
Warehouses and Items are also linked and so any Item coming into APS must have a Warehouse designated where that Item is stocked.
Warehouses likewise are important in determining Inventory information as well as MRP Processing.
